“Mattutina” is an art film that was produced in Marburg in 2023 and received funding from the city of Marburg as a cultural project.During the production work, I took on the role of the sound mixer.
The film explores the dynamics between emotional depth beyond interpersonal relationships and societal norms and expectations. Its objective is to authentically capture the intensity of internal struggles. The protagonist symbolizes individuals who resonate with these themes.
The film addresses topics such as trauma processing, introspection, existential inquiries, as well as profound and uplifting emotions, providing space for these experiences based on the viewers’ needs. The canvas serves as a narrative device, reflecting a journey of self-empathy and curiosity into one’s personal inner world.
